&lt;p&gt;I staved off my craving for froyo last night by making a smoothie with frozen berries, a peach and half a banana, with some milk to help blend. I ate smaller, more appropriate portions, and snacked on veggies if I truly needed something. I ended up being less hungry in general. My stomach had effectively been shrunken. However, when I started overeating again, my stomach quickly went back to its former size (too large). I think of it like this: the stomach is like a balloon, and once it&amp;#8217;s blown up, it&amp;#8217;ll never go back to how small it was at the beginning - its true size. You can shrink it, but you just have to be careful to not overeat and go past this new size, because it will quickly become larger.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;m going to start this routine again to make myself full after real portion sizes.
